• Winter 2017/2018 - CANCELLED or ALTERED MEETINGS:

  • November 25th & December 25th 2017 are cancelled - due to falling on national holidays.​

  • December 9th 2017 & January 13th 2018 have been moved due to SHSU events/closures. We will me meeting at our usual time (9am-noon) but at the George and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Library (8125 Ashlane Way, 77382). 

• July 29, 2017:

  • We've changed our name! From "Woodlands Writers' Guild" to "The Woodlands Writing Guild". Subtle but important changes for professional purposes. Please note this change with our social media accounts as well. ​

• May 4, 2017:

  • The theme for the 2018 Anthology has been announced!  See the 2018 Anthology page for details.

• April 22, 2017:

  • Fourth Saturday Meeting to be held at SHSU The Woodlands Center. The address is 3380 College Park Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77384 and we meet in Room 251

  • Anthology Updates: Exciting announcements regarding the 2017 and 2018 Anthologies will be made at this meeting. Be there if you can!

  • TEXAS IRONMAN will be taking place this Saturday! Please review route information on Community Impact Link, give yourself extra time and plan accordingly.

• April 12, 2017:

  • Long term member Bill Barnes passed. Condolences to the family.
